I'm taking into note that's there's already plenty of these messages on your page but I feel the need to be annoying. PLEASE take the icon down already. We're making all this commotion because its happened too often. It takes someone about 5-10 minutes tops to find or make a new icon, and that's if you're using DSL. So just change it, I'm most likely sure you'll keep on getting these until you do, so save us some time and spare yourself from tons of comments Thank you

That icon does not belong to you. did you pay for it? no. who cares if you found it on a free site, you should respect other artists if you want to have an account on here. why dont you replace it with a nice icon that YOU MADE yourself. being immature about it doesnt help either. im just supporting *spideyfreak and her honesty

I'm quite sure you would be happy if someone took a piece of some item from YOU.You put in a comment you'd do it when you had time.But, trust me, lady...it doesen't take but 2 seconds to change an avatar.It doesn't MATTER if you found it on a free website.Somebody ripped it from it's original user and UPLOADED it onto the site you found.
And if it makes this situation any better, I'd be WILLING to make you an avatar just so you could take down THIS ONE, and not have to deal with all this drama.

Alright, look first off, you've had enough people taking notice and asking you to change your avatar. Granted some could probably be a bit nicer, but art theft is a big deal here since it is an ART site, but seriously, it doesn't take that much to change it or just knock it back to the deviantART default until you can get your own up. If you had enough time to find it and put it up, you have enough time to take it down. Simple as that.
Two, maybe you did get it from a free avatar site, but that doesn't mean they didn't steal it, so I figured common courtesy would say that once you did find out it was a stolen avatar, then you would remove it. Just because you found it on another site for free use doesn't mean that it justifies your right to use it.
and really it doesn't look like you're dealing with it, or you're at least not respecting *SpideyFreak and ~ESDA06 since really they're the only two artists that can have it up. ESDA06 because she created it, and SpideyFreak because she commissioned it and it's her character.
And no the world does not revolve around dA, but that's kinda beside the point isn't it? I really can't see where this comment came from.
Either way, now you know the art is stolen, and by using it and taking your time to remove it, you could get in some trouble. Maybe not a bunch, but if you want to stay in this community for long, you're tarnishing your name by continuing to use this avatar.
Simple enough, just take it down, use dA's default avatar until you can get/make your own. There's no excuse for the continued use of it, not even for a minute after you found out it was stolen.

I see you have many comments about your icon. I must agree. The icon belongs to , NOT you. It's called art theft. And it's not acceptable here. Please remove your icon, for it does not belong to you. This comment is not meant to be rude, but reasonable. People are asking nicely, but enough is enough. You'd plenty of time to remove it. And ok, so IF you did find it at a free icon site, does not mean you can actually use it. It is a paid commision, not to be used by others. And when you have enough time? Oh, please.
